Valentine Mini Sessions 2025

This Past weekend, I hosted my annual Valentine Minis. I posted a behind the scenes “how to” of me creating the backdrop and it currently has 4.1k views (holy cow!!-lol) So, in the spirit of trying to blog more I figured this was as good a time as any. **Why I Love Photographing Mini Sessions**

As a photographer, there’s something truly special about mini sessions. These short and sweet photo shoots allow me to capture so many different moments in my clients’ lives—from seasonal celebrations and milestone moments to just-for-fun portraits that showcase love, laughter, and connection.

One of the things I love most about mini sessions is the variety. In a single day, I might photograph a glowing mama-to-be, an energetic toddler with the biggest smile, a sweet couple stealing a quiet moment together, or a family laughing in a sunlit field. Each session tells its own story, and I get to freeze those fleeting moments into timeless images my clients will cherish forever.

Mini sessions are also the perfect way for families to update their photos without the commitment of a full session. Whether it’s a set of holiday portraits, a birthday milestone, or a spontaneous way to celebrate together, these sessions make professional photography more accessible while still delivering beautiful, high-quality images.
